Bobbie Wilson is a Manchester-based artist and curator who graduated with a BA from Manchester School of Art, she now works from her space at DMZ studios in Ancoats. 

Bobbie creates emotionally charged depictions of her personal history, where moments of mundanity are embedded with themes of grief, memory and connection. She uses the act of painting as way of interpreting her tumultuous mental health and evolving relationships, in the aim to begin a process of healing. Often accompanying her paintings and drawings with essays about her personal narratives, she centres self-reflection and intimacy in her practice.

Her solo show 'The Waiting Line' opens on 21st Feb 2025 at Seesaw, 86 Princess Street and continues weekdays until 21st March
